Two weekends in May bring a cornucopia of contemporary classical music performances to
Stoke Newington's beautiful and intimate Old Church. From established modern classics and iconic 20th-century rarities to brand new music including world premieres. Innovative contemporary music favourites the Ligeti Quartet kick off the first weekend, which also features vocal performances with theatrical and multimedia elements. The second weekend highlights the piano, both alone and in combination with other instruments, voices and sounds - from the concert grand to toy pianos in their infinite varieties.
